This is NYHB’s two liver products comprise a system for ex vivo liver support, nutrition, oxygenation, rehabilitation, and transport.

The first is a Circulating Hibernating in vitro Liver Preservation Solution (CHILPS) for infusion into the ex vivo liver. This product is also testing on lungs and hearts etc. 

The second is an Ex Situ Liver Growing System (ESLGS), a portable container with a built-in circulation system to support and contain the infused liver and to monitor, preserve and protect it by providing ideal physical conditions in a precisely controlled cell growing environment.    

The Circulating Hibernation in vitro Liver Preservation Solution  (CHILPS) has been tested on livers and hearts of rats and pigs ex vivo. This product is now transplanted into rats and pigs for surviving analysis.
